Your Lakebed Lease fees help the Lake County Water Resources Department protect the waters and the lakebed in and around Clear Lake. The Department utilizes these fees to help place and maintain hazard markers and navigation buoys, conduct water and sediment quality monitoring, groundwater level monitoring, and provides support for the implementation of the Aquatic Plant Management and Quagga / Zebra Mussel Prevention Programs.
