Facilities Closure - Thanksgiving Holiday
Lake County, CA (November 22, 2022) -- The Eastlake Landfill and the Public Services Office will be closed Thursday, November 24, 2022 and Friday, November 25, 2022 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Eastlake Landfill will reopen on Saturday, November 26, 2022. The Public Services Office will reopen on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 8:00 am.
Regular operating hours at the Landfill are 7:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday – Saturday. The Public Services Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lake County Waste Solutions (LCWS) and South Lake Refuse and Recycling (SLR&R) curbside customers - There is no collection on Thanksgiving Day. If your scheduled collection day falls on or after the holiday, collection is delayed one day. For example, Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday. That week, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday, and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday. Normal collection will resume the following week.
